[New post] Mayweather Says No To Rematch, Calls Pacquiao A ‘Sore Loser’

It seems Floyd Mayweather has changed his tune regarding a rematch with Manny Pacquiao.

The undefeated world champion allegedly said in a text message to ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith that he would consider a rematch with the Filipino, but it looks like he’s now changed his mind.

In an interview with Jim Gray that will premiere on SHOWTIME this Saturday night, Floyd called Pacquiao a “coward” and a “sore loser”.

He said in the interview: “At this particular time, no, because he’s a sore loser and he’s a coward. If you lost, accept the loss and say, ‘Mayweather, you were the better fighter.”

Mayweather isn’t happy that his victory against Pacquiao is tainted, after it came out that Manny fought the fight with an injured shoulder – that he has since had successful surgery on.

As far as Mayweather is concerned, the injury didn’t impact the fight at all, and his win was solely down to out-boxing his fiercest rival yet.

And it looks like he is now happy to leave it at that. But we’re not surprised, especially after the pay day he received.
