Andrew Chan wore his beloved Penrith Panthers rugby league jersey when he was executed, his devastated brother has revealed.
Michael Chan faced the firing squad during his last few minutes on earth he was wearing his most treasured possession - the top of his beloved NRL team.
'He told me he was going to wear his Panthers jersey, and he did,' says Michael.
It was sent to Chan by Penrith forward James Segeyaro earlier in the year.
Reformed Bali Nine ringleaders Chan and Myuran Sukumaran and their six fellow death row prisoners were tied to crosses with cable ties before being shot by a 12-member firing squad in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
